Unlike most of our competitors, when you submit a reservation directly with The Florida Express Bus you are guaranteed to pay ONLY the fare that is indicated on your itinerary. Other companies charge your credit card additional fees AFTER you submit your reservation and offer NO Guarantee and no Refund or Cancellation Policy. Other companies such as CWS Tours and The Florida Sunshine Shuttle are booking agents (transportation brokers) and do not have an automated ticketing system which means once you give them your credit card, they charge your ticket and then send you a confirmation telling you the final fare after it's too late. The Florida Express Bus is the ONLY transportation company who offers a 100% Guarantee on ALL trips! Florida Sunshine Shuttle The Florida Sunshine Shuttle is a booking agency website. It's very difficult to navigate around the website to find what you want. It took us over 12 clicks to get information on a round-trip schedule between Orlando and Miami. Additionally, the website forces the viewer to read though an astronomical amount of information before actually being able to view schedules. Reviews of Florida Sunshine Shuttle are plentiful. In 9 out of 10 cases, the reviews are negative. On Yahoo, Florida Sunshine Shuttle has 12 negative reviews about poor customer service, rude employees, charging outrageous fees AFTER a reservation has been made and not fulfilling transportation after consumers have paid for their tickets. Additionally, they have had 3 complaints filed against them with the Central Florida Better Business Bureau and this is all within the past few months! Consumer Affairs Disivion also has posted complaints about the Florida Sunshine Shuttle. Additionally, the owner, Dean Ciccarelli, is a former employee who began the development of his own brokerage business and has developed specific websites and postings on the Internet which were slanderous to The Florida Express Bus. When a law suit was filed against Mr. Ciccarelli for slander, it turned out that the "office" address listed for the company is actually a fictitious location in Davenport, Florida which is nothing more than a mailbox rental store. 1. You cannot place a reservation online the day of or the day before travel. You have to place a phone reservation and pay a "priority processing fee" of $30.00 ABOVE your the bus ticket. A one-way trip from Miami to Orlando booking within 2 days is $75.00 per ticket! "Please note: We cannot guarantee that a reservation will be processed and confirmed if placed online if traveling the same day or the next day. Any reservation placed online within these days of travel that is processed will be charged full fare and may be subject to a $30.00 priority processing fee." 2. When you submit an online reservation, and you call to check the status of your reservation, this is what The Florida Sunshine Shuttle has to say "Do NOT call the office to see if your reservation has been processed before checking your email inbox and spam folder. Reservations placed after hours will be processed the next business day as our offices open at 9:00AM E.S.T. Calling before checking your email can and will result in you being charged a phone fare for your reservation." (Note - it's at the bottom of their online reservations forms) 3. They do not offer instant ticketing, you have to wait for your confirmation number unlike at the Florida Express which is instantly done when you click submit 4. A slanderous website was created at CRUISEPORTSHUTTLE.COM in a malicious attempt to slander The Florida Express Bus and it's parent company, Ambiance Transportation. Links have been posted to this website on CWS Tours and Florida Sunshine Shuttle's websites as well. After research in the domain look up owner at www.WhoIs.com, we found that the registrant and creator of this slanderous website was The Florida Sunshine Shuttle. This clearly demonstrates the type of leadership these companies have and lack of professionalism. CWS Tours CWS Tours is a booking agency who offers a very plain website filled with gruff instructions to it's viewers. For example, you are not permitted to call them unless you've studied their website first. We made an attempt to call the telephone number carefully hidden on their website and inquired about schedules between Orlando and Miami and we were told to "go to the website" then the customer service representative slammed down the phone. 1. All reservation MUST be done online, they do not offer telephone reservations. All reservations are done by "e-mail" 2. You MUST book 24 to 48 hours in advance 3. Customers are not "permitted" to call CWS Tours unless they "study the entire page first!" 4. CWS Tours only offers ONE daily trip between Orlando and Miami, The Florida Express Bus offers 7 |
